6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Hush retains personal information while your account remains active.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in the app by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal data from active use, including:

• your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
• your contacts and social connections on Hush
• messages, stories, posts, guides, and saved places
• push notification registrations and device tokens
• accommodation listings you solely own that have no booking history

Accounts Without Transaction History

If you have never made or hosted a booking through Hush, your account and personal data are permanently deleted from our systems.

Accounts With Booking History

If you have booking history on Hush, we anonymize your account rather than fully deleting it. Your personal identifiers are removed or replaced (for example, your name becomes "Deleted User" and your email is replaced with a non-functional address), your account is closed, and you can no longer sign in.

We retain certain de-identified transaction records, such as booking dates and accommodation details where needed for:

• legal and regulatory obligations
• dispute resolution between hosts and guests
• fraud prevention and security
• maintaining accurate records for other members involved in past bookings

Other Hush members will no longer see your profile. Past bookings involving your account may no longer appear in their app, or may appear without your personal details.

7. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to:

• access your personal data
• request correction
• request deletion
• withdraw consent for data processing

You can delete your account directly in the app via Settings → Account → Delete Account. For other privacy requests - such as accessing or correcting your data - contact us using the details below.

8. Children's Privacy

Hush is not intended for users under 18.

We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we become aware of such data it will be removed.

9. International Users

Hush may process information on servers located in different countries.

By using the Service you consent to such transfers.

10. Changes to this Policy

Hush may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

When changes occur the updated version will be posted within the Service or on the website.
